This is a reproduction of the 5F1 Narrow Panel Tweed Champ® Cabinet. We believe in the quality of a hand built cabinet using the same construction methods as used in the 1950’s. We use ¾” solid pine and join the shell with our precision-machined ¼” finger joints. The baffle board is constructed from baltic birch ⅜” plywood with ¼” trim strip. The back panels are constructed from baltic birch ¼” plywood.
Covering cabinets can only be done by hand, and requires unique skills which takes months of training. Our team has been covering amplifier cabinets for over 15 years. Customers also have the option to add a super durable lacquer finish to give it that “aged” look.

Very happy with my Champ cabinet. I went for a Fender Blackface look with black bronco tolex and black/white/silver grill cloth (instead of the standard tweed) and it came out great. These good people have short lead times for a custom cabinet with great pricing. Will order my next cabinet from this shop.

I ordered this to house a 5F1 head I built but wanted to change into a combo amp. I opted for the traditional tweed look and a dogbone handle, with rubber feet instead of chrome gliders to save my floors. The craftsmanship is top-notch, and the flawless tolex wrap makes this the nicest looking bit of kit I own.
